Our Essential Care Consultation Packages have been created to allow full flexibility to clients that do not have complex or chronic health conditions, and who would like to utilise Advanced Clinical Naturopathy to plan for, and maintain their health goals, as well as utilising acute care appointments for general illness i.e. Sudden onset flu/colds, viruses etc where you want naturopathic treatment, quickly.

What can I use these appointments for?

Longevity Planning

Aging well and strong should be a priority for everyone. You can utilise your appointments to discuss the steps you need to put in place to plan for a future that is as healthy as possible. 

Acute Care

When you or a family member has an unexpected illness i.e. flu, colds, seasonal allergies, rashes etc., and want clinical naturopathic care.

Nutrition Planning

Do you have a family member with specific dietary requirements? We can help you to navigate how to create the specific dietary plans and recipes to suit all the members of your family. (Detailed multi-meal strategic meal plans can be purchased at an additional cost.)

General Naturopathic Care

For the times you want general naturopathic care for everyday illnesses or to prepare yourself and your family for flu season etc. 

These packages are for you if:

  • You know you could improve your own health, and your family's health with regular, affordable, preventative health care and planning.
  • No matter how much you want to improve your health or the health of your family, you are time poor and just don't have the time to research all the information you need.
  • You know that having our wealth of clinical knowledge at your fingertips is going to change your family's health for the better, OR
  • You want to do some of our DIY courses but also have the flexibility of having appointments available to discuss your progress with Christine.

These packages are not for you if:

  • You or your immediate family member utilising the package, have a complex or chronic health condition requiring ongoing monitoring and treatment (Our Personalised Complex Case Program is more suited to your needs).  
  • Patients requiring extensive diagnostic investigation and test analysis.
  • Patients who have been told “everything is normal” but remain significantly unwell. (Our Personalised Complex Case Program is more suited to your needs).

Can I get a refund?

We offer a 14 day satisfaction guarantee from the date of purchase. This means, that should you decide within 14 days of purchasing your Essential Care Package, that we are not the right fit or you don't want to continue, you can request a refund and it will be issued, no questions asked. 

We will deduct the cost of any appointments already used within the 14 days, before issuing the refund.  

After the 14 day period there will be no further refunds and should you wish to cancel your future appointments, you will forfeit all monies paid. 

Can I give my appointments to someone else?

Your appointment package covers yourself and your immediate family (i.e. partner and children).  Appointments are not transferrable outside of this.

Why can't I just book 1 appointment?

At The Body Guard, we prioritise thoughtful, considered care. Even for everyday health concerns, quality treatment requires context, understanding your history, patterns and individual situations before making recommendations.

For this reason, we offer our Essential Care consultations in structured packages rather than as one-off sessions. This allows us to provide care that is informed, accountable and clinically responsible.

It also ensures continuity, protects appointment availability for committed patients, and maintains the professional standards our clinic is known for.

We believe healthcare works best when it is intentional.

Where are my appointments held?

Do you need to know my medical history?

Yes. This is a non-negotiable before we will begin your appointments. You will be provided with an online intake form to complete so we can obtain a full medical history for yourself, and if you are nominating other family members, a full history for them as well. 

We do not treat patients without knowing a full history and as such we request your full honesty and transparency to ensure that any treatment we provide, is suitable for you. 

Should you withhold any health history information, we take no responsibility for any adverse outcomes that arise because of this failure to advise.

What happens in an appointment?

  • We are a 100% online Naturopathic Clinic and as such all appointments are held via our secure patient telehealth portal called Halaxy.
  • Your appointment is not recorded, nor are you allowed to record the appointment using any device.
  • You can of course take notes during the appointment.
  • Prior to your appointment you will receive sms and email reminders of your appointment. Included in this reminder will be the link to access the telehealth portal. 
  • You will also be required to provide a current health update prior to each appointment. 
  • Each appointment is for 1 patient only. This means, if you require an appointment for yourself, the appointment is for that purpose and discussions about other family members (i.e. kids with the flu etc.,) will not be discussed in your appointment. You are able to utilise a separate appointment for that purpose if required.

Do I have to take supplements?

As an Advanced Naturopath and Nutritionist, my aim is to use food and lifestyle interventions as medicine, where possible. It is a reality however that our food supply is not of a high enough quality to ensure we are receiving all the nutrients we require on a daily basis. 

As such, we reserve the right to prescribe nutritional supplements should we feel it will benefit your situation at the time. It is your choice to choose whether to follow our recommendations regarding any prescribed supplements.

Do you treat children as well as adults?

Yes, we work with patients of all ages, all abilities and from all walks of life. 

As an Advanced Care Clinic we regularly work with patients of all ages who live with complex and chronic health conditions, whether they are adults or children.

If after 14 days from the date of purchase, you decide you don't feel we are a good fit, simply email us and we will refund the cost of your package, excluding the cost of any appointments you have already attended.  No questions asked.
