For patients managing complex health conditions

A Personalised Clinical Nutrition Review provides a detailed assessment of your health history, dietary intake, supplements and nutritional status in the context of your current medications, to provide you with evidence-based information so you can ensure your nutritional status is supporting your body while medical treatment is in place.

Many commonly prescribed medications, and over the counter supplements, are associated with changes in your nutrient metabolism or nutrient depletion. This then impacts the effectiveness of medical treatment. By learning where any deficiencies may occur, you can speak to your care team and implement the necessary nutritional changes to ensure your body is receiving the optimal outcome and support, while medications are doing their job.

This is not a replacement for medical care. This is an extensive tool you can use in conjunction with your medical team, to ensure that your nutritional status is supporting your body while prescribed medications are doing their work. Medication management remains under the supervision of your treating doctor at all times.

The aim is to identify nutritional factors that may influence how well your body copes with treatment, helping to support energy, resilience and overall quality of life while your medical care continues.

A Personalised Clinical Nutrition Review provides you with a review and analysis of your nutritional status and provides you with a deeper understanding of how to support your body during medical treatment.

FAQ

Is my medical information safe?

Absolutely. We take our patients' privacy very seriously. We are a registered clinic with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and practice under the laws of the Australian Privacy Act.  Your information will never be shared or discussed with another party without your express consent to do so.

Is my consultation online?

Yes, we are a 100% online natural medicine clinic. All consultations are held via our secure telehealth system called Halaxy. This provides us with a secure online environment where we can meet via video link. If this isn't suitable, we are able to hold a phone consultation at a mutually convenient time.

Do you offer a refund?

No we don't. Due to the nature of the Personalised Clinical Nutrition Review, we will have undertaken a considerable of work and invested many hours into the review prior to meeting with you in our consultation.

Can my doctor contact you?

Yes, I welcome any member of your care team to contact me to discuss how they can support you with implementing the nutritional recommendations in your report. Please note, I will NOT discuss your case unless I have written authority from you, specifically detailing who you would like me to liaise with.

Can I have support during the consultation?

Yes I am more than happy if you require another party to support you during our consultation. It is a lot of information to take in so I also ask that you take any notes you need to during the consultation.

Is the consultation recorded?

No. It goes against my clinic policy to record any consultations with patients. I also request that you, in turn, do not record the consultation and do not give my legal consent for you to do so.

The report will be extensive so there is no need to record our consultation as you will have all the information required, contained within your report.

How long does it take to do the review?

Within 24 hours of ordering the review, you will receive an email from our patient liaison to request copies of your current pathology reports, dietary information, medical history and medication list.  Please ensure you check your spam/junk folders in case our emails land in there.

Depending on how complex your medical history is, we would recommend you allow 7 days from the time you order the review to having the consultation with Christine.

Should we require more time we will contact you immediately upon receiving all of your information.

Any delay in sending your information to us, will impact the report readiness and consultation timing.

Will you let me know when the review is ready?

Yes. Approximately 48 hours prior to completion of the report, our patient liaison will contact you via email to arrange an appointment time for your consultation.

Do you provide me with a treatment plan?

NO! This is a review of your nutritional status. This is a recommendations guide only to support your body in being at it's best while undergoing medical treatment. This in no way replaces your medical doctor's advice or treatment and you should show the report to your medical team.
