At The Body Guard Clinic, we believe that understanding the types of foods your body needs and WHY, is one of the most important aspects of managing your health. Unfortunately, a lot of the food data available is outdated, misrepresented and difficult to find specific details that are not a generic approach. With over 20 years of hands-on clinical experience in naturopathy & nutrition, and deep research into the science of foods, we understand the intricacies of how to utilise food as medicine to support everyday health AND specific medical conditions.
When compiling our food index we looked at foods through the lens of specific medical conditions and then took that research even deeper to see:
