The answer to the question "is stress just a normal part of life?" is NO!

THE MYTH: “Stress is just part of modern life.”

Cool story. Except chronic stress is basically your body’s version of having 47 open browser tabs all screaming for attention. Your cortisol doesn’t know you’re late for a meeting; it thinks you’re being chased by a tiger. The more you normalise chaos, the more your biology goes rogue.


THE REALITY: Your body isn’t coping.

It’s overworked, under-rested, and sick of your to-do list. Protect it like it’s your most loyal guard, because it is and your check engine light is on.

THE ACTION STEP: Close a damn tab.

Try:
- Saying “no” once this week without explaining yourself.
- Sitting somewhere quiet for 5 minutes; no phone, no guilt.
- Sleeping an hour longer.

These are micro acts of rebellion that when done repeatedly, will retrain your stress response faster than any expensive product or retreat.
